California’s undocumented workers to get $125 million coronavirus disaster relief

Clinics need swabs and tests, but they also need protective gear and more financial help, said Carmela Castellano-Garcia, president of the California Primary Care Association, which oversees about 1,400 nonprofit community health centers in the state. Health centers, which largely serve low-income communities, have seen anywhere from a 25% to 50% drop in visits since the pandemic started.
